In addition to providing rentals, Pedals is a complete cycle shop. We sell beach
cruisers, mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, comfort mountain bikes, kiddie karts and bicycle
trailers, kids' bikes, BMX bikes, and recumbents, as well as accessories such as
helmets, locks, seats and seat covers, bags, baskets, lights, fenders, gloves, bike
shorts, tools, car racks, and spare parts.
We are committed to meeting your cycling needs, so if there's something you want that
we don't have in stock, we're more than happy to order it for you. Our primary bicycle
lines are Jamis and Schwinn, and we carry a wide variety of products by both
manufacturers. Schwinn bicycles continue to be some of the best products available for
the price, and several of Jamis's mountain, road, and comfort bikes have won quality
awards in the cycling press, but we love their all-aluminum, rust-proof beach cruisers!
Recently, we added Electra bicycles and Haro bicycles to our sales floor. Haro makes
the best BMX bikes in the business, and Electra specializes in comfort, with retro-styled
cruisers and the hottest thing in cycling, the Townie. Townies are designed with
"flat-foot technology," meaning the pedals have been moved forward so you can put
your feet flat on the ground when you stop, yet still fully extend your feet on the pedals.
They have high handlebars, hand and coaster brakes, and come in a variety of gearing
